Overview
This topic introduces the steps for accessing and using eReports for Administrative Systems reporting.

- Access eReports at http://ereports.osu.edu.
- The recommended web browsers are Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox.

- Access eReports using your Ohio State username and password (formerly Kerberos ID).
- Only your Fiscal Officer or their designee can request access to eReports.
- Budget, General Ledger, Grants, Human Resources, and Procurements reports are available on eReports.
- Access to each type of report depends on your security access to eReports .
- Always click the Log Off button in the Workspace toolbar at the top of the page to leave eReports.
Steps
1. Access the eReports home page.
a. Open your Web browser.
b. Type http://ereports.osu.edu in the address field of your Web browser.
c. Click log in.
2. Log in to eReports.
a. Type your Ohio State username (lastname.#) and password.
b. Click the Login button.
3. Confirm you are in the Explore view.
4. Review the Workspace menu at the top of the window.

5. Review the Workspace panes.
The left frame of the Explorer view is called the View Pane. In the View Pane, you are able to navigate the folder structure in eReports. The right frame is called the Content Pane. In the Content Pane, you can navigate the folder structure and access report content.
6. Review sorting content in Workspace.
a. Sort content based on any of the columns displayed in the Content Pane.
b. Click the column title name to sort items in ascending order.
7. Review Workspace tabs.
a. Select previously-accessed content by clicking on its open tab at the bottom of the Workspace.
b. Click the Close button in the Content Pane to close content that is no longer needed, or right-click on the open tab and select Close from the pop-up menu.
8. Set user defaults.
a. Select Show Duplicates from the View menu.
9. Set user defaults.
a. Select Show Columns from the View menu.
b. Check 'Versions,' 'Name,' 'Type,' 'Modified,' 'Size,' and 'Description,' if applicable.
10. Open a file version other than the most recent.
a. Click the Open Document icon in the Workspace menu bar.
b. Navigate to the report item you would like to view in the Open dialog box.

c. Expand the 'Options' list to view the Version list.
d. Select the version of the file you would like to view from the 'Version' list.
e. Click Open.
11. Find the Job Status page.
a. Select Schedule - View Job Status from the Navigate menu.
12. Review the Job Status page.
The top section displays currently running jobs and the bottom section displays a history of reports ran over the past three days.

a. Click Refresh to update the View Job Status page.

Follow the directions in the Examplify for iPad: Downloading and Installing Examplify, then see the Login to Examplify section below.
- You will receive an invitation from exambot@examsoft.io. Before accepting this invitation, please ensure the following:
- If you are using your own device, confirm that your device meets the minimum system requirements.
- Your default browser is the latest version of Chrome or Firefox.
- If you receive a White-label error, clear your browser's cache and try logging in again. If you continuously receive this error, update your Chrome or Firefox browser to the most recent version.
- Click the button to Join Your Peers.
- Verify your time zone and select Next.
- Navigate to this URL to log into the portal.
- Enter your lastname.# and your university password and click Login.
- Once you have successfully authenticated, you will be logged into the ExamSoft student portal.
- Click Download Examplify.
- Once the download is complete, follow the directions to install Examplify.
- Once the installation is complete, launch Examplify.

- Launch Examplify, you will be prompted to enter your Institution ID: The Ohio State University (osu)
- Click Next.
- You will be prompted to enter your Ohio State username (lastname.#) and password.
If you see the error message 'We were unable to validate your username and password. Please check your credentials and try again', do NOT select the Forgot User ID/Password? Option. You will not be able to reset your password with ExamSoft. Instead, select the Back option. You will then be prompted to Choose an Account. After selecting Add New Account, enter your institution's ID: The Ohio State University (osu). At this time your institution's login page will appear in a browser window. After entering in your login information, you will then be able to open Examplify.
- Once you have successfully authenticated, you may close the browser window and re-open Examplify, where you will now be logged in.
- You can now use Examplify.
After you have installed and registered Examplify, for future logins do not use the email invitation to access your portal.
